Shout out

Just want to give a big squooshy lovey shout out to you Jake because you are leaving tomorrow. Be safe, Be happy, remember to do your homework, to answer my phone calls, pray, read your scriptures and all that good stuff. Know that we love and miss you XOXO

Summer might be here

Jay loves sitting in our bike trailer while Hallie gets to do fun stuff. Wouldn't you? 

The Carousel is open now at Porter Park, of course it was after we had walked to the park that we discovered this so we had to walk all the way home ( a block away from the park big woop) to get a dollar so Hallie could ride the horses. DANGER they also sell cotton candy and its PINK so of course we had to get some of that too. 

Homeward Bound

The morning after we got to my parents house we were outside doing crafts at like ten in the morning, who does that?... and then i remember what family i come from. 

This is a gift basket from Kneaders i got for my obgyn doctor that i went to see while in Utah, he did my D&C five days after i delivered Jay so i told him it was a "Thank you for saving my Uterus and my posterity and possibly my life" gift basket. It was a big deal. 

Went up AF canyon to celebrate Jamies 27th birthday, WOW that means Jake will be 27 this year. Jamie and Jeff brought up Texas Roadhouse YUM YUM for dinner which is somewhat backwards since it was her birthday but anyway it was a smashing good time literally because  Hallie broke an Apple Beer bottle and cut her finger on it.... so we went home early.

Tres Leches cake with strawberries. Jake it was actually really good despite what you are thinking. 

Oh, and a GIANT lady bug landed in my hair that was the size of my thumb...okay it was almost the size of my thumb. 

Hallie's new obsession

Hallie loves our neighbors the Garvins (Cody, Cami, and Brylie) she runs out our door straight to their apartment and knocks on their door with no respect for what time of day it is or if i'm with her or not. Joyous right? Here are some of our documented outings with the Garvins:

Went to the Snoasis for a snow cone on a Monday night at seven MISTAKE well the timing anyways, so instead of waiting in the line that was backed up into main street we thought we would give standing in the "drive through" a try. They let us do it but while they were making our snow cones Cody overheard them all saying we refused to stand in line and that we demanded our snow cones. I admit we are crazy but not that CRAZY.  

Went to Porter Park another day, it was ROASTING outside so we ended up running through the sprinklers because all the playground equipment was on fire and the kids were in shorts.

Jamie got this for us, they were selling them at her school, its a doll house/castle. She loves it, it came with furniture and everything.

Bubbles on a blustery day

Make believe is also something that we are exceptional at on blustery days. Today Hallie decided that Jay would be her pet dog so she took off her tie to her shirt and shoved it in his mouth and he actually fell for it and followed her around the apartment for about twenty minutes.

The door bell rang and randomly a vase of beautiful flowers were delivered to my parents house. . . 

Addressed to LESLIE, I wonder who these could be from ? checked the card like a normal joe would do and there was no card inside ? curious and curious-er 

Called Jake to confirm my suspicions and he denied it . . . I can read you like a book my love!

Hello Missionaries

We got to skype Jana on mothers day and talk to Taylor on the phone. Jana is in Ukraine and Taylor is in Poland. So awesome to see Jana and talk to Taylor, they are both doing awesome and will be home in seven short months CRAZY!

Hallie did not want to let go of aunt Jamie, makes them feel special when she does that...not that they shouldn't feel special all the time but you know what i mean.

Cousin Chris McKee is leaving for Chicago to work for an awesome insurance company. The family got together to wish him luck!

Hallie and cousin Cole were attached at the hip sharing their root beer... taking one sip and passing it off to the other time and time again, it was super cute to watch and i am shocked that they sat there for as long as they did.

Happy Birthday Jay

Jay is ONE and i cant believe a year has gone by already. He is such a blessing to Jake and I. We went to the park with some friends, to the sand dunes which only lasted a few minutes, and came home and had dinner and cake. On Saturday we went to bear world for the first time with our friends and it was awesome. Here are the pictures:
