Couldn't Stay Away

With the help of Jakes mom we decided to go to Alaska for the month of August, and so glad we did!
Looking down on Cordova as we are flying in

Hallie saying one more minute because we are having to much fun on dads boat

I love my little family

Grandpa got the hot tub working and we were so glad he did!

Breakfast at the Niles house
We made bat outfits at the library

In the plane about to fly out to meet Jake on the boat
This is the boat Jake was on all summer the "Endeavor"
This is one of Jakes jobs, he drives the "skiff" and keeps the seine boat off of the net as they haul in their catch
This is what the other crewmen do while Jake is in the skiff, this is what they call "stacking the seine" hard work,  McKay did this on his boat.
About ready to leave Jake and head for Land
One last minute mend job, looks pretty good hu?

The pilot picking me up, its so cool to watch him land the plane

Jake took the kids with him to fuel up his dads boat

Jake took the whole family out on the Endeavor to go halibut fishing and set some shrimp pots

Hallie didn't want McKay to leave

Blueberries for Sal?

Little blueberry snitcher
Love our outings with the Niles

Taking Grandpas boat out for a test drive...didn't go so well

Hallie was mad that we cut the fish up...sorry baby thats life!
Touching the eyeball is the best part

This was about as good as it got for me that day

 Dress up time

until we meet again

Wedding Flowers

My parents neighbors let me do their flowers for their reception. It was so much fun!
All the amazing flowers i got to work with

This is the bouquet i did for the bride

 Flowers for the food table

Down Time

Nothing better than riding the carousel with friends
Rub a dub dub three friends in a tub
We took Brylie to the Zoo in Idaho Falls while her parents got some packing done, we were not happy about them moving but were jumping at every opportunity to spend more time with them before the left.

Ice cream with the Garvins

REDFISH LAKE

FINALLY...pulling into the Redfish Lake campground after four years absence, i was shaking with excitement despite the downpour of rain

This is what we drove in to see, everyone hunkered down to keep out of the rain

Hanging out at the beach, the kids were in heaven

Such memories here at this grocery store, it just so happened that the very family that we started making memories here with when we were little were here with their whole family too. We love the Baileys! Eli Bailey is one of them, he is in this picture below the flag on the left with one of his boys. I loved crashing their campfires at night after my kids were asleep and making more fun memories with their family!

Hallie and Cole every morning would greet each other with a big hug and were glued at the hip every day

July 2012

stylin on our way to porter park

4th of July morning at the parade with the Garvins

Us and the Garvins went to the local Rodeo the night of the 4th of July, the kids were in heaven, we had front row seats so they could play while they watched, they had a crazy scrub down when we got home from all the dirt.

Shout out

Just want to give a big squooshy lovey shout out to you Jake because you are leaving tomorrow. Be safe, Be happy, remember to do your homework, to answer my phone calls, pray, read your scriptures and all that good stuff. Know that we love and miss you XOXO

Summer might be here

Jay loves sitting in our bike trailer while Hallie gets to do fun stuff. Wouldn't you?
The Carousel is open now at Porter Park, of course it was after we had walked to the park that we discovered this so we had to walk all the way home ( a block away from the park big woop) to get a dollar so Hallie could ride the horses. DANGER they also sell cotton candy and its PINK so of course we had to get some of that too.
